Exfoliating – Proper exfoliation ensures the removal of dead skin cells and helps in the unclogging of pores on the surface of the skin. Although beneficial, it is important not to overdo it. You can also find a scrub tailor made for your skin by taking the skin quiz and then jumping to the ‘meticulous’ regimen.
Toning – Toning is an optional step in your skincare regimen and people with dry skin can afford to skip it. Always ensure that you use an alcohol free toner, as alcohol dries out your skin.
Moisturize – Moisturizing helps regulate the moisture balance of the skin and keeps a check on excess oil production. Remember to choose a moisturizer based on your skin type. Find one for yourself here. Moreover, keeping skin hydrated and moisturized gets increasingly important as we age. So age also has a role to play in the type of moisturizer you should select for yourself.
Night Cream – Night time is ideal for the body to work on repair and renewal of our skin. It is therefore imperative that we supplement this process by using an efficacious night cream which bolsters this process and helps the body tackle the minor imperfections that might be creeping in.
